Our commitment to minimizing emissions and maintaining clean air is not just a regulatory requirement, but a fundamental responsibility to our community and the environment. The company has installed and commissioned a half-ton biomass boiler and is currently in the process of installing an eight-ton biomass boiler, which is scheduled to be operational before the end of 2025. A sustainable source of the required biomass fuel has already been secured.

- Complying with applicable International Standards including the ISO 14001standard, Local and National Environmental Legislation and other requirements.
- Paying due regard to impacts of our activities; existing and new, on the physical Environment in order to prevent or minimize all forms of pollution, waste and the consumption of natural resources.
- Continual identification and implementation of pro-active and cost effective measures which can be taken to safeguard the physical environment.
- Continual monitoring and measuring of our environmental performance against preset objectives and identifying opportunities for continual improvement.
- Openly communicating relevant and factual information on environmental activities with business partners, customers, employees and public interest groups.
POLICY OBJECTIVES
We aim to achieve the following objectives:
- To measure environmental performance and ensure compliance with local and national laws and regulations.
- To improve the condition of the receiving environment.
- To reduce waste, emissions of pollutants, the consumption of natural resources and the probability or consequences of environmental risks.
- To ensure full involvement of all stakeholders to gain cooperation for meeting objectives through encouragement, consultation, training and providing information.
